I was lucky enough to be the wedding photographer for this stunning London Wedding at Strawberry Hill House near Richmond. Strawberry Hill House, ‘Horace Walpole’s Gothic Castle’ is fascinating – I thoroughly recommend a visit. So full of character and elegance it makes for a perfect wedding venue. Caroline and Alan’s winter wedding was a real joy to photograph. The day started a little wet and windy, but the sun streamed through the windows during the ceremony and showed off the colours of each room magnificently. Caroline looked gorgeous and Alan super smart. The whole day was filled with laughter and love, a wonderful time was had by all.

Wow, what a year! 2013 has certainly proved to be a great one. The end of this year also marks my one year anniversary of launching my full time photography career and I thought it would be a great time to share with you some highlights from a brilliant year.
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing portraits of some wonderful people, namely Gregg Wallace and Dr Dannie Abse and headshots of some brilliant actors and talented business people. Alongside the more corporate side of my business I have had the honour of photographing weddings from as far a field as Italy, Cyprus, Ireland, Norfolk and the surrounding areas of London. Oh and briefly became a member of the Royal Press Team when His Royal Highness the Duke of York opened the Yammer EMEA HQ in Shoreditch! I’ve also shot lots of family and newborn portraits, which are a real joy to do.
A big thank you to all my clients of 2013 and hello to those of 2014 – I’m very much looking forward to working with you!
Please feel free to share my contact details with anyone looking for a photographer for a wedding, family shoot, headshot, portrait or any special occasion or event.
Oh and watch this space – I’m working on a new website!

Katie and Denys had a wonderfully relaxed wedding day. Their ceremony was at the pretty St Andrews at Lamas, Norfolk. The church sits back from the road on a beautiful piece of land with river and pasture views. Katie and Denys were then whisked away by the father of the bride in his Land Rover to Hautbois Hall, just up the road. Hautbois is new to weddings, but all I can say is, I hope I get to go back as it’s a stunning back-drop and brilliant wedding venue! Congratulations to Lester and Katie Bayfield the owners! A congrats also goes out to Cheryl Beeney, the Wedding Planner at Hautbois.
The weather began a little dubious, but the evening was lovely. We were joined by horses and a crocodile (!) as drinks were taken just outside the converted barn. A traditional hog roast was on the cards for the guests followed by an impressive spread of desserts and chased down with a few bottles of vodka, curtesy of Denys’ Russian family and friends! All in all a great day!

I’ve completed a number of headshots for some brilliant actors and talented business people and have had the honour of photographing lovely weddings from as far a field as Italy, Norfolk and the surrounding areas of London. I’ve recently started to do some family shoots which are a real joy to do.
A big thank you to all my clients, friends and family for your support and encouragement. Roll on many more years of living the dream as a freelance photographer.
Allison and Sattu were married at the beautiful St. James, Southrepps, followed by a wedding reception at Mannington Hall Gardens. Highlights of the day were discovering that Allison had asked her seamstress to embroider Sattu’s name into the lace of her dress (stunning!) and the amazing band, The Yow Yows who wow wowed us into the night! Allison and Sattu had an English Fete theme for their guests to enjoy whilst they eagerly awaited the arrival of the Hog Roast. It was a very special day, with many of Sattu’s family flying over from India to be with them. Mannington Hall Gardens provided a quintessentially English backdrop for this pretty Norfolk wedding.
Kirsty and Alex chose the idyllic Ca’ Bianca Dell’Abbadessa B&B for their wedding and what an amazing choice it was!
The day couldn’t have dawned any better. Clear blue skies and hot temperatures! We were all up at the crack of dawn to get ready for the day ahead. Marco, the owner of this beautiful place was also up, grooming Danny Boy for his important role for the day.
I spent the morning with Kirsty and her bridesmaids as they had their hair and makeup done by the lovely Sabrina. Breakfast was a stunning tart, homemade by Marco’s wife.
Kirsty looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress (one of two!) her flowers setting everything off beautifully (the main flower being a Protea, the national flower of South Africa – Kirsty’s home country). Her veil and hair piece so delicate and stylish.
A super fun way to travel to the church we jumped up on Danny Boy’s cart and made our way down to the church, a short ride away. Danny Boy did an amazing job! The ceremony was held at a classic Italian church with a beautifully ornate interior. The happy couple left the church to a shower or rice, confetti and pasta!
We all then headed back to Ca’ Bianca Dell’Abbadessa to enjoy some amazing canapés and a glass of bubbly. The sun was still shining and guests enjoyed mingling in the pretty garden and surrounding grounds. We were then seated in the marquee and were treated to some fantastic Italian food – all served up outside by the head chef. Kirsty’s attention to detail throughout the whole day was amazing – the tables were beautifully decorated.
After lunch we were treated to a comedy show, performed by Alex’s friends. So many laughs! The foliage covered barn was the perfect backdrop – and was also the home to a very impressive dessert spread. Italians know how to do good food!
Yet more delightful entertainment from a band and a good friend taking up the mic for some singing. The whole atmosphere of the day was great, so relaxed and happy.
The evening progressed with some more food – in the form of a local Bologna speciality – so tasty even Vittoire, the resident Jack Russell got a looking!
I thoroughly enjoyed shooting Kirsty and Alex’s beautiful wedding day not only as the photographer, but as a guest also, their friends and family were so welcoming. A big thank you also to Marco and his wife for living in such a splendid house, the location of this special day.
I met Laura and Leigh on my first wedding shoot in Greece! They are such a beautiful couple – and great fun – I knew when they asked me to shoot their wedding that it would be a great day – and it was!
Morning preparations began at Laura’s parent’s house, fuelled by toast and bubbly! The sun was shining and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Laura had her closest friends with her and everyone had made a special contribution to the day. One bridesmaid had created hundreds of delicious, colour co-ordinated cupcakes and the second bridesmaid had arranged the bridal bouquets, which were absolutely stunning. Amazing that it was her first foray into bridal flowers! A best friend was on hair and another on make-up. I felt very honoured to be part of the day!
They were married at St Mary’s in Beddington – a gorgeous church with lots of character. It was pretty nippy, so we sought shelter behind the big wooden doors whilst we awaited the bride’s arrival. She was fashionably late, her groom getting a little hot under the collar! He need not worry, Laura arrived looking absolutely stunning – gliding down the aisle, her pretty bridesmaids and flower girls accompanying her ( a very proud father on her arm!).
Their reception was at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking – with drinks served in the dramatic wine cellar. We were later whisked up to dinner, in the Estate’s conservatory. Some touching speeches and a fantastic group serenade were followed by first dances and much fun on the dance floor – which was packed immediately!
All in all an absolutely wonderful day – and I got to go home with a cupcake in my pocket! (which was amazeballs).
Enjoy the photographs!
